This shows the child that it is important to respect the time that you have to meals and that it is an important role to do it together as a family.

It is important that your child understands that they should brush their teeth at least three times a day with the proper toothbrush for their age. As the child matures, it is important to teach them other methods of preventive care, such as rinsing and flossing. It is also important to inform them that they should change their toothbrush periodically so that they can maximize the benefits of brushing. You may want to set aside time for a special trip to gather all necessary dental equipment that they require to get the most out of their oral care.
