There are numerous sites out there that offer these samples and if you were to sign up for a few of them, you could find yourself well stocked for a while.
If you would like to save money when buying gifts for the holidays, suggest a draw box for gifts. Let your family and friends know that you think it would be a great idea to put the names of individuals and families in a hat and everyone draw a name. That way it is your responsibility to buy for only the person that you drew and everyone still receives a gift for the holidays.
